begin haiku

begin haiku is currently seeking columnists to assist in this space. In April, our first column, "Kukai Tune-Up", began to help contributors to the kukai who want to reshape a haiku that fared less than well in our monthly contest.

This month, we are excited to announce that Jane Reichold, will begin fielding questions for us as "HaikuJane". Jane is the proprietor of Aha! Books, co-editor of "Lynx: A Journal for Linking Poets", and the author of many books including her most recent, Writing and Enjoying Haiku: A Hands-On Guide . We look forward to her participation at "begin haiku".

The focus of ALL of these columns is to help beginners answer questions about haiku. If you have a question that you would like to have one of our columnists address, please send it to: questions@haikuworld.org with the subject either "Kukai Tune-Up" or "Ask HaikuJane".
